The things we want you to know before you buy, not after.

Allergen warning — please read this if you have a food allergy

Everything we sell contains wheat, or has been milled on equipment that handles wheat. A stone chakki cannot be stripped down and sterilised between batches. Traces of one grain remain and carry into the next.

This means our besan, bajra, jowar and ragi flours are not gluten-free, even though those grains naturally are. If you have coeliac disease, a wheat allergy, or a severe sensitivity to gluten, do not buy from us. Buy from a mill certified for dedicated gluten-free production. We would rather turn away the order than take a risk with you.

1. Nutrition information

The nutrition figures shown on product pages are indicative, drawn from standard reference values for each grain. They are not laboratory analyses of the batch you receive.

Wheat is an agricultural product. Protein, fibre and moisture vary with variety, soil, rainfall, season and storage. Two honest sacks of wheat can differ measurably. Use these figures for general guidance, and if you need precise values for a medical or clinical reason, do not rely on a website — ours or anyone's.

2. We make no health or medical claims

Whole grain flour is a reasonable thing to eat, and the evidence for whole grains in a normal diet is respectable. That is as far as we will go.

Nothing on this website is medical advice. We do not claim that our flour prevents, treats, cures or manages diabetes, heart disease, obesity, digestive conditions or anything else. Any statement on this site about grains is general information, not a recommendation for your body.

If you are managing a health condition, are pregnant, or are planning a significant dietary change, speak to a doctor or a registered dietitian. They know your history. We mill flour.

3. Recipes and cooking content

Recipes on our blog are shared for enjoyment. We have not tested them for every diet, allergy or medical restriction, and cooking times vary with your equipment. Check that the ingredients suit you before you cook, and use your own judgement on food safety in your kitchen.

4. Photographs

Product photographs are illustrative. They are taken under controlled lighting and show a particular batch on a particular day. Flour colour varies naturally between lots, so what arrives may be a slightly different shade from the image. Pack designs may also be updated before the photographs are.

5. Prices and availability

We try to keep prices, stock and pack sizes accurate, but errors happen. Nothing on this site is a binding offer — an order is accepted when we confirm it, as set out in our Terms & Conditions. Where an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you and refund in full rather than quietly ship a mistake.

6. Reviews and testimonials

Customer reviews on this site are individual opinions, published as given. One person's experience is not a guarantee of yours, and taste is genuinely subjective. We do not pay for reviews.

7. Links to other websites

Where we link to another site — the FSSAI licence checker, a payment provider, a supplier — we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Once you leave this website, their terms apply, not ours.

8. Availability of this website

We aim to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, hosting problems and connectivity failures happen. If the site is down when you want to order, call or WhatsApp us — the mill is usually still working.

9. External and third-party content

Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, and messaging may be sent through third-party email, SMS or WhatsApp providers. Those services operate under their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or failures within them — though we will always help you sort out the consequences for your order.

10. Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know something specific about how a particular flour is milled or handled, ask. We would rather answer a question than have you assume.

Ask us a question

Common questions

Is your flour gluten-free?

No. We mill wheat, and wheat contains gluten. We also grind besan and millet flours on equipment that has handled wheat, so even our naturally gluten-free grains are not safe for anyone with coeliac disease or a serious wheat allergy. We would rather lose the sale than risk your health.

Are the nutrition figures on the site exact?

No, they are indicative. They come from standard reference values for each grain. Wheat varies by variety, soil, season and harvest, so the actual figures for any given batch will differ. Treat them as a guide, not a laboratory result.

Can your atta help with diabetes or weight loss?

We make no such claim. Whole grains are a sensible part of most diets and there is decent evidence behind eating them, but no flour treats or manages a medical condition. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian about your own diet — not to a mill.

Why does the flour look different from the photograph?

Photographs are taken under studio lighting and show one particular batch. Real flour varies in shade between lots because wheat does. If the difference concerns you, tell us and we will look at it.
